Intro to Welding
Interested in learning to weld? Whether you're an artist, creative, outdoor enthusiast or just plain curious, welding is a skill that will open up your tool arsenal for what you can create. Anyone can learn to weld, it just takes the willingness to try, make some mistakes, and keep trucking! This is an intro-to-welding class to learn the foundations of what it takes to fabricate with metal
If you’ve ever wanted to create something involving metal but didn’t know exactly how to do it I encourage you to explore that! Come take an intro welding class and learn the foundations of working with metal. Cutting, grinding, multiple types of welding including Flux core, MIG, and some other handy skills like plasma cutting will be touched on in this class. You may even have a welder at home but don't know how to use it...this is a great intro level class to get you started.
This is a basic welding introduction and each student will have the opportunity to practice the above types of techniques while also learning how to set up welders, terminology and other cool stuff!
