The first of our monthly "Top 5" we are introducing a new series of tips for our community to benefit from our experience and learn something new! This month in honor of Giuliana Maresca's screen printed photographic images and vinyl bags we give you our Top 5 Screen printing supplies.
Giuliana uses a special Vinyl ink for her bags, but for our School of Visual Philosophy Classes, we have waterbased ink suitable for natural fiber fabrics and paper. Make sure you heat set any inks printed on fabric using an iron on the back of the image or a heat gun for a minimum of 1 minute at 300 degrees Fahrenheit (or I just throw them in the dryer on high heat) before washing to ensure your image stays put!
