About the Event
People often ask me how do I make art. It has been my therapy for the past 22 years. I was abducted and kept in a small room for 11 days. It was only by a miracle that I was released so fast. PTSD. Anxiety and panic attacks. Tired of that, I grabbed a piece of wood. Carved. Loved it. A beautiful form came out. My father got me into sculpture classes. Art saved me. But there was something wrong. My brain wasn’t working the same way. I had to change my life. Tried to find a way. Nothing really worked. Finally a few years later in California I found healers. They helped me to see the light of the universe. Then I realized that’s why I make art. True art comes from the heart and it’s what keeps me going.
